Two Goldendoodles are charming the internet after their owner, Instagram user @sociallykels, posted a hilarious video showing the pair “playing” tug of war in the most unusual way. The clip proves that even when nothing happens, it can still be impossibly funny.
In the short video, the dogs appear to be in the middle of a tug of war game, yet they stand completely still with each holding one end of a white cloth in their mouths.
Neither dog makes a move. They simply gaze at each other, fully committed to doing absolutely nothing, while the on screen caption reads, “Idk what’s wrong with my dogs but they like playing tug of war without tugging.”
What makes the moment even more amusing is that the standoff continues for several seconds, possibly minutes.
